Terms of Service

PixCode (“PixCode”, “we”, “us”) is a service owned and operated by West Sand Technology Co., Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong SAR, trading as Westsandtec (https://westsandtec.com/). Address: Hong Kong. Contact: info@westsandtec.com.

PixCode consists of (a) an open-source command-line coding agent (the “CLI”, MIT-licensed, a fork of opencode) and (b) an API gateway at api.pixcode.ai that forwards model requests to third-party language-model providers under our own model aliases (together, the “Services”), accessible at pixcode.ai.

The Services are offered worldwide except Australia. They are not offered to persons located or resident in Australia, and by creating an account you confirm that you are not such a person. We may decline or refund purchases and close accounts where we reasonably believe this section is not met.

Prices are shown exclusive of any value-added, goods-and-services or similar tax; where the law of your location requires us to collect such a tax, it is added at checkout and shown before you pay.

You sign in with a supported third-party account (such as GitHub, Google, Microsoft, GitLab or WeChat) or with a one-time code sent to your email address. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your API keys secret. Keys may be revoked by you at any time from the dashboard. One account per person; do not share accounts or keys with others. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or that we reasonably believe are fraudulent.

The gateway routes your requests to language models hosted by third-party inference providers. The catalog includes open-weight models (for example GLM, Kimi, DeepSeek) and closed-weight models (for example Claude, GPT, Gemini) made available through those providers, as well as our own bundled aliases (for example pixcode-fast). The provider serving a given model, and the model behind an alias, may change; current list prices are published at api.pixcode.ai/v1/rates.

Model names such as Claude, GPT and Gemini are trademarks of their respective owners, used here to identify the models being accessed. PixCode is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google, and access is provided via third-party providers, not under a direct agreement with those companies. Availability of any specific model is not guaranteed and may end without notice; unused credits remain refundable per our Refund Policy.

The CLI also supports “bring your own key” (BYOK): if you configure your own key for a third-party provider, the CLI calls that provider directly. That traffic does not pass through our gateway, is not billed by us, and is governed by your agreement with that provider.

You agree not to use the Services for unlawful, infringing, or abusive purposes; not to circumvent rate or concurrency limits; not to resell or share access; and to comply with the acceptable-use terms of the upstream providers whose models you use through us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section.

The Services are prepaid. You purchase crystal packs — virtual goods in fixed tiers; crystals function as prepaid usage credits (1 crystal = US$0.01 of usage) and each request deducts them at the rates published on our pricing page (the upstream official list price, zero markup). Rates may change; changes apply to requests made after the change and are announced on the pricing page.

Purchased credits do not expire. Promotional or bonus credits, if any, expire as stated when they are granted and are consumed before purchased credits. Concurrency and other limits apply per plan as published.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are listed in US dollars; depending on your payment method the amount may be converted into your local currency, and any conversion or foreign-transaction fees charged by your card issuer or payment provider are your responsibility. Prices exclude taxes unless stated; you are responsible for taxes imposed by your own jurisdiction.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: unused purchased credits can be refunded; consumed credits cannot.

Output from the Services is generated by machine-learning models and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purpose. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it or deploying it. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, fitness, or non-infringement of generated content.

We do not store the content of your prompts, code, or model outputs; requests are forwarded to the upstream provider and the response is returned to you. We retain usage metadata (token counts, model, timing, status) for billing and operations. Upstream providers process your content under their own terms. See our Privacy Policy.

The Services depend on third-party providers. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, particular model behaviour, or that any specific upstream model remains available. Routing may change without notice.

If we discontinue the Services, we will give at least 30 days’ notice and refund unused purchased credits in full.

The Services are provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law we exclude all warranties, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the mandatory consumer-protection law of your place of residence.

We may update these terms; the “Last updated” date reflects the current version. Material changes affecting fees or credits will be announced on pixcode.ai. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

The English version of these terms governs; translations are provided for convenience only. To the extent permitted by law, we reserve the right of final interpretation of these terms and of the policies they incorporate.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your own jurisdiction.
